In October 2022 we experienced a kitchen fire in the ground floor of our holiday apartment. That evening an electrician sorted our supply and the next day the very professional and helpful assessor arrived, and quickly arranged a meeting with local tradesmen and an action plan was arranged, together with a point of contact for me as I don’t speak Spanish, this was very helpful.
Work started promptly, and suffice to say within 5 weeks, the property was transformed, new kitchen, door, windows, replastered ceiling, rewiring as well as redecoration. All work was first class, with very helpful workmen. We can’t fault the service, and doubt if we would have had the same experience with UK insurance companies. We totally recommend MAPFRE.
